Coach DeRamus

This year will be the fourth season coaching football for Coach Ahmad DeRamus and his first year serving as Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach for South Cobb High School. Coach DeRamus comes from Gadsden City High School where he served 3 Years as the Varsity Quarterbacks Coach, WR Coach, and JV Offensive Coordinator.

Prior to his time at Gadsden City, DeRamus played Quarterback at Tuskegee University. At Tuskegee University, he played for four years while starting for two. He was a part of the 2017 Tuskegee Golden Tigers that won the SIAC Conference Championship. In 2018, he accumulated two Player of the Week awards and was named the SIAC Player of the Year that same year and Tuskegee University Offensive Player of the Year. He was named Team Captain in both 2018 and 2019.

In his spare time, DeRamus enjoys all things golf, watching Friends, and playing video games. He has one beautiful dog, Seven, who is two years old.
